We finally just checked in at our hostel in Singapore. We had a 3 hour flight from Hong Kong this morning. On board the plane we met two cool Canadian ladies in the 35-50 range that were very knowledgeable about Singapore and recommended a bunch of places to us.
Singapore is crazy! A true blend of cultures. We had about a 30 min metro ride from the airport to our hostel and the whole train was packed by a mixture of Indians and Chinese, with a couple of unidentifiable ethnicities (probably the Malay). The weather is really warm, about 90 degrees F with 85% humidity... will be sweating through a layer or two today. Now we're off to Clarks Quay on the water to hit some bars and then hopefully get some delicious food (Singapore is famous for its wide array of cuisines).
Early early flight tomorrow morning (6:45 AM departure) to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Stay tuned to hear about our Singapore adventures.
